Ref no. 08-1179. Our client is seeking a Process Technical Manager with extensive experience with an engineering company or operating company, and relevant Principal/Lead Process Engineer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervises the execution of process activities on projects by providing the lead engineer and other process staff with the required technical and non-technical direction.

Keeping informed on the progress of project activities through regularly scheduled project review and adhoc sessions with the Lead Engineer and others.

Ensures the proper input to the Gate Reviews as required by company procedures and Project Quality Plans.

Takes corrective actions with regard to staffing, process team organization and technical execution as required.

When requested by Management, organizes and leads large teams of Process Engineers and serves as the Process Team Manager for a World Class size project. Alternatively leads or coordinates the process activities for several projects for a particular client or technology area.

Serves as a Project Manager for process studies or front end design work.

Supervises the process efforts for major proposals and bids.

Critiques client’s bid documents and adds value to the Company’s sales efforts.

Makes convincing and credible presentations to clients and the Company's Management.

Works with the Lead Engineer to ensure that those individuals assigned to develop authorities documentation have the proper instructions, background and resources to execute the assigned task.
